LeaderShift Scorecard
LeaderShift Scorecard is a system that includes individual scorecards to accurately assess candidates against a job performance profile, requisite experience, skills and competencies. The scorecards include candidate self-assessment, as well as executive recruiter, hiring manager and key stakeholder scorecards that can be analyzed individually or in aggregate.
The gap analysis tools clearly identify any gaps between candidates and what’s required for success in the job. The LeaderShift Scorecard also enables a multiple candidate comparison against the job performance profile.
An interview scorecard should not be overly complicated. We start with 5-6 prioritized and most important interview criteria, as employ an easy-to-tabulate scoring system.
After candidates are scored, we coordinate individual scores with the rest of the hiring team. Significant disparities between applicants is cause for further discussion. Most importantly, by filtering the interview process through an interview scorecard, you are able to pre-determine and stay focused on the qualities and skills required, and how each candidate fits those criteria.
Moreover, interview scorecards are an effective way to assess the efficacy of your hiring managers and interviewers. For example, you may find through your analysis that a certain hiring manager is too lenient or strict on a particular interview question or category. Or you may discover a certain interviewer does not assess a particular criteria effectively and therefore may need more support or training. Either way, scorecards provide opportunities to not only assess applicants, but also the performance of hiring managers.
